Wozza Meats sources all our beef and lamb from the Matatiela and Kokstad regions. Wozza Meats has partnered with several local farmers who love their animals, raise them up naturally on grass, the way it was intended. Although, the grassfed process takes longer, we have peace of mind, that the meat we offer contains no growth hormones or stimulants, resulting in meat that is packed with more flavour and goodness that tastes better. We believe the extra flavour and naturalness of our meat is what our customers are looking for and what we should be feeding our children. It is common fact that these great livestock farming areas produce amongst the best quality cattle and sheep in South Africa.
Wozza Meat Company partnered with the Modern Abattoir situated in the town of Matatiela, where our cattle and sheep are humanely slaughtered under strict health and hygiene conditions.
The meat is transported in refrigerated trucks to Ballito weekly.
Wozza Meat Company sources only the best quality pork from reputable farmers from the Winterton, Mooiriver and Estcourt areas which is humanely slaughtered at either Jacques Abattoir in Estcourt or the Ambleside Abattoir in Dalton.
Our free-range chicken is supplied from Kirsten Canter, owner of Willowbridge Farming, the farm is situated in the Wagondrift, Estcourt area. Willowbridge Farming is a family run business producing cruelty free birds, which are raised with love with the emphasis on natural, spacious, stress-free living. The entire process, growth, processing and delivering of the birds is handled and controlled on the farm to ensure the highest quality product reaches your table.
